Please help me to do something nice for someone who seems to have more than I do or seems more capable. I understand that sometimes looks are deceiving and that everyone appreciates a random act of kindness, some enough to pass it on. I may start a chain that benefits many more.

Please help me to do things like draw with my wrong hand sometimes. I know the other half of my brain needs stimulation and that doing the familiar with a different hand can help me in other aspects of my thought processes.

Please help me to look at my surroundings as if for the first time occasionally. I know that sometimes when my thoughts get stale it’s because I have been looking at the same things every day in the same way. Refreshing my surroundings will refresh my thoughts.

Please help me to accept invitations to parties that at first might not seem like a lot of fun. I know that I bring my own unique qualities to an event in which I might meet someone very interesting or learn something new.  I will take fun with me and share it.

Please help me to fix the holes I’ve made in other people’s lives by apologizing to those who may hold a grudge against me. I will be prepared for the negative comments I may hear and realize that they are the other person’s way of healing.

Please help me to fill in the missing pieces of my life by doing things I’ve always wanted to do. I will make a list that includes today, this week, this month, and this year and try to accomplish the things I’ve put off.
